Diesel Price!!

Just got back from Lost Dutchman for Xmas and was suprised to find Ca. had cheaper diesel than Az. At least the areas we were in. About 30 cents difference. $2.70/$3.00

Yeah-tell me about it! We must have bought trucks same time. Within 6 mos of buying our first diesel, fuel price started to climb.

$2.69 is the lowest I can find in my area. It's going up after the first of the year due to cap and trade in the Peoples Republic of California.

I use my Kroger points to purchase my diesel too. Between my wife and me, we get several prescriptions. At 50 points a prescription it doesn't take long to get 20 or 30 cents off a gallon. Now, I'm picking up prescriptions for my mother too and using our card (she does not drive or own a vehicle), so we are getting points there too. They do add up and every bit helps.

Prices are still varying a lot around here. How much is a lot? ... $2.00 a gallon within 50 miles.
