don't know how it is in other states but most truck stops on long haul routs in CA now have DEF pumps next to the Diesel pump out at the island.
My current truck is a diesel and my next truck will be a diesel. California has the Sierras, my favorite playground. Diesel, heavy campers and 9-10,000 passes just seem made for each other.
