Diesel Question for truck campers

Unless you are towing something big along with the camper where you really need the extra grunt of a diesel or put on an incredible amount of miles, it makes no sense to go diesel from a logical perspective.

Any fuel savings is minimal with the price difference in fuel and the up front cost eats that up.

Longevity is no longer significantly different.

For a basic truck camper the gas engines have plenty of power.
