I hear you Bigfoot! I just want everyone to know it is my fault! As soon as I finally moved to a diesel, the price separation began. We just did a couple of round trips to Northwest Wash.. Here on the West Coast we typically see 40 to 50 cents a gallon difference. My thinking FWIW, "smart" diesel cars are just going to continue to increase the demand on diesel. DW has a V6 Blazer. I have a 2001 Dodge CTD. First trip in hers we got 17 mpg. Second trip in mine we got 18 going up 21 coming down (no T/C). We spent less money in her car, less time in the truck. Ultimately, I just hope that I get the 300k out of my motor and it will all be worthwhile.
