Times are moving fast these days, but I didn't think something that occurred less than two years ago (which is when we bought our new F350) is that far in the "PAST." My thoughts are based on considerations and decisions we just went through in 2012.
With the improvements the big three have made with their trucks the past few years, I think it's hard to go wrong these days. However, having carried with both, I'm still giddy in how nicely the diesel is hauling our camper.
I should have indicated that my comments were originally made to covered wagon..........who just indicated that his diesel truck is 20 years old. Mine is 14.
But the OP was looking for a current day solution. Today, the diesel trucks are very different........especially the price. :B
