Saying it is hard to find diesel anywhere in North America is just silly.
In fact, we have found the further you are from major cities the more likely you are to find diesel. Tractors/combines/skidders/logging trucks/etc all run diesel.
This is another myth perpertrated by those who don't know.
billtex... you are absolutely correct.
This isn't an opinion... this is a fact: There is no place in the 48 contiguous states that I can run out of diesel with my 30 gallon fuel tank and 450 mile range. I have been in all of them and didn't have any problems.
I have been in much of Canada... and never had a problem.
I don't know if other people notice or not, but I haven't been many places that I didn't see a tractor trailer rig.... diesel fueled of course. If they can get diesel fuel so can I.
For that matter, I don't think I've ever gone 450 miles anywhere without seeing a WalMart truck.
My trucks lifetime fuel average is 15.1 mpg with the camper loaded 7/24/365
Question... About the myths... do you think someone might make up things they haven't experienced? I wonder why?
