Diesel Ram 1500 terrible Payload

What the heck are your people talking about???!!!!. 1/2 ton truck with 1,200# payload and 8,000# towing give or take. Sounds like a manufacture is finally giving an actual realistic rating. If your towing over 8,000# or hauling more than 1.200# you need something bigger than a 1/2 ton (or 1500 series today). (I'm not the weight police BTW, routinely tow 18k# with an '06 Dually). 1/2 ton trucks are quite capable today but if you are going to be carrying around over 1,200# or towing more than 8,000# get a piece of equipment built to do that (Brand Choice is yours).
