Diesel Ram 1500 terrible Payload

My 2012 Ram Quad Cab with the Hemi only has a 1100 lb payload.
That same truck and trim/package level in a 2014 ram with the eco-diesel would have less payload and has a MRSP of 51,000.00
Today I priced out a 2014 F350 with as close as I could get in equivalent trim level and with the 6.2L engine. The cost on this truck is $50,000.00.
Makes me want to trade my Ram in for the F350...
Note: The above prices are in Canadian prices and I would not ever pay MSRP...
