Diesel Ram 1500 terrible Payload
Wow that is so bad ..you won't be towing anything with this truck !! It truly is a Mall Queen, put 4 guys in the truck and your done

No shortage of opinions here so I'll toss mine in:
Will the Ram 1500 diesel be for everyone, or every RV'er?
No.
If you like your RVs large, the Ram 1500 isn't for you.
Could it be a great truck for someone who has a small-to-medium TT or boat, and truly doesn't need more than a half-ton? A guy or lady that really likes a truck as a DD but would love a bit better MPG?
Yes.
I think Ram's intend is to grab a large piece of the half-ton market, period. If one needs more truck, one can walk across the lot and- hey what's that?- it's a 2500 or 3500 with an 850ft-lb CTD or 400+HP gas V8 and plenty of payload for larger tasks.
