So today I visited a local Dodge dealer. They have a brand new, 2016 /6.4L with 12 miles on it. Seems it got lost in the shuffle of a move to the new building. They offered it to me for $37,000 which I didn't feel was even close to where it should be for a 2 year old truck. I think I can buy that truck for $33,000 ......Then when I told them I couldn't make up my mind on a Gas vs Diesel, they lowballed a 2018 Diesel to me for $43,000.....With a few more cosmetic options than the 2016.
These are both bottom end Tradesman 4X4 trucks with comfort options (carpet, power windows and doors, cruise, power mirrors,220 alternator, skid plates, etc...
So the Diesel option is $10K and it gets me a two year newer truck and 18" wheels and tires and a chrome grill....
This is a very tough decision!
