Diesel truck issues - thinking of going to gas

Hey, everyone! I'm new here. I have a dilemma - I drive a '17 Ram 2500 Diesel. Love it, but have had nothing but problems since we pulled off the lot. It's currently in the shop for transmission issue...

Maybe we should let the OP expound. Still unclear what the actual trans “issue” is.
Everyone’s temperature for issues is different, but to me, a big “issue” is trans doesn’t shift right, slips, grenaded, etc. A leak or 2 is annoying and ain’t the end of the world especially depending where it is and if one is capable of simple repairs.
Wind noise? Pffft. Lol
Front end alignment? Either super rare issue or super dumb alignment people. Not brand specific.
