Diesel trucks

What's the upper limit on mileage for a used 250/2500 series diesel truck that you would buy?

I'm seeing a lot of nice looking used diesel trucks but, many of them have like, 300,000 miles on them.

Depends on truck, year and engine. Some years have significant advantages. Some engines should absolutely be avoided.

2003,early 2004 Dodge Cummins would be a great buy.

the rest of the truck is what concerns me. the shocks, the bushings, the u joints, the wheel bearing, the brakes. all that needs to be replaced sometime in that 300K miles

just my .02 cents. the engines run long miles. its the little stuff that eats the money . injectors ,pumps etc. keep looking theres one out there for you.
