When I was shopping for my truck, the sales guy got that deer in the headlights look when I asked him about payload capacities ..... He went out to do some consulting and was still giving me bad information based on the research I had already done.
Luckily they were a VERY big dealership and I did a lot of looking in the glove box of different configurations.....Seemed everyone else was concerned about towing capacity, not payload.
