With the TT tied to his auto policy, unless he's able to add some additional coverage, I believe it would only be covered while towing.
We previously had Geico for auto and Allstate (UGH!) for homeowners. When I did my frequent price quotes, Geico was steep on the homeowners. I will say, we had over the years had claims with Geico and they were top notch. This particular time I checked with Farm Bureau and was pleasantly surprised at their rates and coverage, so they now have it all + our Medicare supplement. This should completely eliminate the back and forth between companies should there be a loss....Farm Bureau is going to cover it. Their rates have remained acceptable.
