Saying "...the trailer will be tied to his truck insurance..." doesn't mean anything.
Through Progressive my comprehensive, liability, contents, are all associated with the TT policy. Talking with SF the trailer insurance would only cover stolen/damage. Liability and comprehensive would be provided via his trucks policy.
I am happy with my insurance but he was asking me the pros and cons of having a policy strictly for the trailer with all coverage versus having the trucks policy kick in on some.
