Difficulty removing lens off LED lamps in Flagstaff 27 RLWS

My RV has LED lamps as shown below. If you have these lamps - What is the best way to remove the lens?

I need to remove the little styrofoam debris trapped there. Gently prying I was able to remove only one lens. The others hold on so firmly that I don't want to rip the fixture off the ceiling. I used a small screwdriver at the little slots (2 each side) but based on the design this is not the solution (hence the failure of the others). The slots are not where the little tabs on the inside of the lens are. Besides, the screwdriver puts little dents in the ceiling.

  • Those little Styrofoam thingys will last forever! Our '07 ROO still had them and we showed the new owners how to remove the 2 plastic lenses to clean. Rocky has his share, but that'll be part of the spring cleaning. Agree that just calling FR is likely the fastest and easiest.
  • Better than that .... I googled for it and could not find it at all. Based on your suggestion I checked PPL and they have nothing like it. May have to call the dealer and / or Forest River. Thanks anyway.
  • I wonder if you could go to a place on line like PPL parts superstore and get a idea of who makes this fixture. Then go the manufactures web site and see if they have any diagrams or pictures that may help you. Or, once you find out who made it give them a call.
