Dinette Benches or Sofa

Interesting on the the slide thread that some people don't actually like their sofas while I've read here a few times about it being an upgrade. It's the first I've heard of looking at the bathroom, for example, if you have a sofa. Sure, it makes sense. :) Obviously, you lose storage if you remove the dinette drawers.

Since I'm considering it, let's hear from those who have switched either direction with their reasons.
