- betsypupcdxExplorerFound the perfect small folding table at walmart to fit into space when we want to use it. Then fold and stow away.
Very happy now!
Linda - betsypupcdxExplorerWe did nothing to the wall behind the pillows. There is an extra board cut so it can still be made into a bed. Not sure yet about the table situation. Will either make a smaller one that can be used and taken down or just go with TV trays.
This 2014 class C only had dinette and chair, no sofa. But the deal was too good to pass up.

Nice Betsypup!
Did you re-do along the wall (behind where your pillows are)?
Do you still have a way to use the table? Convert to bed? - betsypupcdxExplorer

Linda,

Linda - gaymeadowsmanExplorerA few years back I saw a post where a lady put her dinette in the bed position, added a mattress topper trimmed to fit. Then covered that with a coordinating comforter and pillow shams to go with the bench back cushions and turned the dinette into a full time "daybed". It looked very nice and she seemed pleased with it.
- tenbearExplorerHere is a link to a dinette conversion that caught my attention. It may give you some ideas.
- rekoj71ExplorerIf there are no utilities under the benches it shouldn't be too hard. I've seen several people recommend IKEA furniture as it can be easier to get in a small door as most of their furniture comes apart, or is delivered in pieces.

Ok. How about ideas for making dinette into a seating area? Leaving the bench seats in place and adding a seat between. Making it U shaped.
Shouldn't be any problem doing that. Use the same construction technique as is used in the existing dinette seats.
On second thought I guess it is possible that changing the seating arrangement could put more weight further out in the slide causing a problem. Probably less of a problem, if any, than replacing the dinette with a sofa.
