Really? Do you seriously think that having 10 or thousands of electric RV's charging during the day is going to help the grid when they are already having rolling blackouts? Seriously? What about the 10's of millions of cars that need charging during the day. You know, the ones that live in the city where they have to charge at a charging station during THE DAY.
Turtle, I think it is you that is falling behind. This was predicted 10 years ago as part of the "Duck Curve" phenominon.

Look at the "net demand curve" to see how there is excess generating power during mid day. Crunch time is really just 6 to 9 pm.
