I don't think the Tesla is a new Model T, it just takes the old Model T and puts a different engine in it. Not any real change, the highways stay the same, the gas stations change to charging stations, but basically stay the same: sell ice and beer. They build solar and wind farms instead of oil wells and drilling rigs.
The change from horses to horseless carriages was huge, from ICE to electric, not so much.
