Creating the car was the challenge.
Developing the infrastructure is more about desire and mindset.

I didn’t say that they couldn’t improve the infrastructure, just that it will take lots of dollars and the rates will go up.
That is the real battle of EV's and going green. Who will control the profits? The fossil fuel guys are not giving up on oil dollars without a fight. There is no dominant industrial force in place on the green side to push issues and control where the dollars will come from and who the will go to.
The finacial side of going green is still in its infancy. Until a business plan/ game plan is put in place to finance large scale green energy there will be lots of debate on going green and its benefits/usefullness.
The whole thing is about money and practicality....something the believers in magic with their heads stuck in the sand either can't or won't recognize.
Whether your argument is to save the planet or that you're going to save money, the saving money part will vaporize. Utilities and oil companies are like drug dealers...they aint gonna give it away and theyll charge exactly the most they they're able to for their services...
