Fits nicely. Looks like, even with cutting the battery box top off, there's no way to get the battery out of the frame short of cutting the padlock.

You DO realize that even a $19 Harbor Freight battery powered grinder with a cutoff wheel can cut off pretty much any padlock within 60 seconds?
It is done all the time, I have had to do that with a badly rusted padlock once myself..
Cut off wheels make very quick work of hardened steel shanks used in padlocks..
TAKE YOUR BATTERIES WITH YOU when putting it into storage, that will REDUCE greatly the amount of damage and loss you will end up with when a determined thief decides they like your stuff..
Yes, it is a pain, but in the end much less stress about what you might find the next time.
Thanks for your opinion ... But, I maintain that any security is better than none. In my specific case the perp would have simply moved down the line of campers to the next one with unsecured batteries. Mine were chosen because they were new and easy.
