- stevenalNomad IINothing much to store. Quick dry shirts and underwear get a quick wash daily and are hung to dry.
- run100ExplorerWe put ours in the rooftop storage box. Keeps the truck and camper clear of the clutter and smell.
- ejfranzExplorerWe use an old nylon sleeping bag bag and keep it next to the cab over bed.

Where do you put your dirty clothes between washes when on extended trips?
We struggled with the dirty laundry issue for quite a while...Finally, in preparation for the current year-long journey with our family of four, I decided that we had to have an official laundry hamper. So, while building-out some storage cubbies, I made sure that there was space for one. I chose to use a Rubbermaid "Configurations" canvas hamper. They fold flat and we have a second one in reserve for when the first gets full (full one gets moved to the back seat of the truck). We haven't had any odor issues at all and these hampers are easy to carry into the laundromat or house.
Now if I could just find a good place to fit a kitchen trash can :R

We use plastic grocery bags, put a day or two in each one and tie it shut and put it in the wheelwell.
I used this system once with CLEAN clothes I had just washed at Laundromat. I thought it was a good way to keep them clean until I put them away... DH saw bags on floor of truck and chucked them into the dumpster while I was at the pool with the kid.
Didn't notice until some ways down the road when I asked, "Where are the bags with all my clean underwear and DS's T-shirts and shorts?":S
For dirty laundry we have a lower storage nook that has netting across the front. It makes a great spot for dirty laundry and so far no funky smells have bothered us. - MattydExplorerMesh laundry bag in the rear closet of the Northern Lite.

In USAF basic training we used fabric laundry bags, thirty two years later...yep still use fabric laundry bags when traveling.
That's the same bag I use!! :-) I got mine on April 20th, 1987
samo-samo... fabric bag... works..
Keep the Bounce static cling box in there too, along with the tide soap pods... keeps the locker room fresh.. in truck..
I got my first in Jan 1984, then acquired a few more during deployments to South West Asia. Those fabric bags are great for dirty clothes, just enough ventilation to keep stuff from molding like in plastic, but not enough that you can smell it. - BedlamModeratorI doubt I still have my Air Force bag. As soon as I moved off base, I bought a wicker basket (which I still use today at home).
Since this topic started, I cannot get Don Henley out of head:
