Dirty laundry - where does it fit in a TC?

Where do you put your dirty clothes between washes when on extended trips?
Our old truck camper (2008 Arctic Fox) had a storage cabinet that was used for dirty clothes. Our newer 2014 Lance 1181 is shy of storage cabinets.
Bag it? Box it? What, where?

  • I'd use the same place I put the dog food, through the truck bed access in front of the wheel wells if you have them.

I store extra fire wood, dog food, empty beer bottles and anything soiled or smelly down there.
  • Where ever you find to put the dirty laundry be sure to use a 'mesh' laundry bag. :W
  • As I am in my TC for longer periods than most and don't take my dirty clothes home to get them washed. These clothes can accumulate for about 3 to 4 weeks. To keep that "locker room" smell out of my TC I keep them in a tote bag in the bag seat of my crew cab. I would never keep dirty or soiled clothes inside the TC compartment, as well as other aromatic foods or material.

  • Laundry bag and mesh as a back up...

I, currently, store it in the back seat of truck, stacked on other containers there. I just move the immediate dirty clothes to the truck as needed. I also keep the soap modules and dryer-cloth (Bounce) in the bag so it's there when I make a trip, via buggy, to the laundry... as has happened. Also, keep the bag fresh smelling...

Holding in the camper big cabinet took up too much room and don't need it for anything until laundry day.
  • Ours goes in a tall kitchen hefty bag in which ever cabinet has room. All though we are fortunate with lots of cabinets. If we got a lot of laundry then it's hefty bags in the back seat of the truck.
  • We have a mesh bag that we keep in the back closet of our NL for dirty clothes. If we exceed its capacity, then we use shift to paper bags that I keep in the truck.
