Diy bed rails jayco eagle 8

I actually decided to get rid of the rails all together and made a bracket so it holds it when it's extended. It's really just the wife and I who use the camper and we only need the one bed.

What is bent? If you are talking about the parts on the slide out, could you cut the bend out, work with short pieces? Would be more work in/out, but working on a dead animal.
