We bought the roof coil from a local tractor trailer supply company. They had a giant roll of it and sold it by the linear foot, 100 inches wide. IIRC it was pretty cheap, about $13 a linear foot. I am guessing most tractor trailer repair/supply companies would have similar material.
We did initially think about the EPDM rubber roof, and even bought a gallon of it. We later were told it is not suitable as a primary covering but rather a coating to go over an existing rubber roof for patching or repair of pinholes. Perhaps they have a new product now though.
