DIY trailer tongue weighing

This device is homemade, using your own existing bottle jack. Its purpose becomes two fold. It is converted to a tongue weight scale and still can be used as its original purpose as a bottle jack lifting cars whatever. It costs about 15.00 to make in your shop and some DIY project time . A sherline is probably more than 100 bucks and has only one purpose. The large resolution gauge can be used for most all trailers or could be replaced easily with a different scale. FYI
