We went with the BlueOx for our V-nosed ViewFinder (see signature picture).
The only issue we had was that the battery shelf was mounted to the frame right where the brackets needed to be.
We had the battery shelf rebuilt - lower (since the batteries were under the nose and hard to get out) and set farther back in the "v" (to accommodate two batteries instead of one).
