Never have taken the camper off the truck while on a camping trip, haven’t found a need too.
Even when we spent 2 months on BLM land ( Yuma Proving Ground Area) 2 winters ago we left the camper on the truck. We did have a grey / black water tote with us, however I never used it. Only took 25 minutes every 5 days to go up and dump the tanks and fill the water. We went shopping / touring / exploring on the 5 th day so that we only moved once per week usually.
