Do you warm up camper before heading out for winter camping?

We start our furnace at home plugged in to shore power, and swap in a full propane bottle before leaving. Like billtex said we leave the furnace running at a reduced setting while travelling except when pumping fuel. We can use our water systems with the heated basement.
