Do you warm up camper before heading out for winter camping?

Hi,

Warm it up before you leave using electric heaters--and keep the furnace on while you travel to the destination.

I have a 12 volt electric blanket--but it does draw 7 amps--so unless there is a way to recharge it may be unwise to use it all night. It is great for warming up the bed.
