I don't think the 6.4 will compare to the Triton V10 either. The TFL guys did a video of a 4500 RAM 6.4 with a flat bed with a tank of water IIRC and a snow plow on the front. Mr. Truck was driving the truck and was not impressed with the power.
I recently switched from a '08 V10 to a '15 Ram with 6.4. Pull a 14k toy hauler. After some break in the 6.4 equals or out performs the V10 until the long steep grades at higher elevation. Then the gap between 1st and 2nd gear and the nanny in the computer strangle the 6.4.
