coming down a 25% grade dirt road the brakes started to smoke and fade.truck in low gear o/d locked out speed kept to 10 mph .we had to stop and let them cool at 1/2 way point ,dirt road 4 miles long...

thank everyone for their helpful hints. just to set the record straight I just guessed at the slope degrees It is not a public road it is graded 3times a year and gravel is pushed in .the road drops about 1000ffeet in 3 miles just a guess .the truck was in toe haul and in low gear the torque converter was locked up . It looks like a packbreak is in the future.once again thanks tony
