I bought my '04.5 new without doing internet research on reliability and such. I have owned Dodges all my life and they have never let me down. My current truck now is 10 years young and 164+k. Yes I have had one major expense with it and it was last Sept. with 154k and it was the transmission. I spent 20 years in maint. on very expensive machines, that you and me helped pay for by the way, and they have things that fail too. Good luck in your search.
