07 5.9, 6 speed, 120k mi. Mostly freeway soccer mom miles with maybe 25 k towing 4-6k lb trailers and last year with a heavy truck camper for a few thou.
Has been an awesome truck with a few issues. Some self inflicted since it has been chipped since new.
New clutch at 50k. Weak link. Knew it, extra torque did it in quicker.
2 worn injectors currently. Never did anything Bette than stock 7 micron filters. Should have installed better filtration early on.
Steering box went out at 70 k. Not usual wear, it drove fine, bad shuttle valve in the power assist. Not a common problem. Have not read of this issue ever.
#4 injector line. $50 repair and 20 min.
Hydro boost pump at 75k. Not bad but couldn't keep remans in it. Finally sprung for the new style pump. $600 part.
New rear u joints recently. Expected.
NO issues with steering, front end or anything else.
Overall very happy with truck. Injectors are the only let down.
