It's already a crew cab and a long bed so you can't park it up close to the store, or navigate most drive-thru lanes, so why not go with the dually and have the payload you need?
This, "I want to tow a trailer that needs a dually, but I don't want a dually," attitude never ceases to boggle my mind. Maybe you won't take out a busload of nuns and orphans, but who wants to count every paperclip you put in the truck to make sure you don't overload it? Who wants to put up with the porpoising and chucking from the loaded-to-the-limit suspension, not to mention the extra wear and tear it puts on the truck?
I've seen what towing a big heavy 5ver with an SRW truck does long term, and it ain't pretty.
