Ya that is why I went with a less appointed Ram and a quad cab with only 17 wheels. Its not as loaded up inside, but can haul a lot outside. Yes the coil springs are a bit softer, but a good WDH and airbags can improve things. Also getting LT tires and ditching the P ones helps.
Make those couple mods and I don't worry about small details that the actual numbers say. Doesn't mean you can get the heaviest longest trailer, and completely load up the truck bed, just be reasonable...
