Cont'd from an earler posting!
Hi: As for the Dodge V-10's. The 1994 & 5's. Dodge did experence problems with the V-10 series engine's, ie: head, and No. 9 piston failures. Somewhere or somehow it was trace to the timeing setup.
The only real repeating problem I have encountered, is leaking water pump seal, and leaking radiators this all external the engine.
If I hold the engine in low gear a lifter will chatter (float)(R/S) bank, back off it quits. It isn't there after that.
I am looking into just re-building the engine, and going with a '97 or '98 disc brake configured axal that will accept my existing L/S unit.
