Does a personal truck need a dot
I am buying a personal f350 with a gcvw of 11500 will I need any type of dot for the state of md or us dot.

- DOT number is a no but you may want to talk to your insurance company. If you look at Fees for Registration Plates anything over 10,000# GVWR may be an issue in MD. May be an insurance issue as well.
