It is not a U.S. "1 Ton" it is what you call a Midsize. The weight is in Kilograms, so it is 2,400lb. The Ranger has 3100lbs, Hilux 2,700lb
So if I said a Midsize with a 2,700-3000lb payload it would have more impact
If I said a Midsize with a U.S. 38mpg fuel economy and a 2,400lb payload in the case of the Navara even more impressive
