Very wrong, we have vastly more options, you are limited to Pickup Trucks., that have limited capabilities Vast range of vehicles to choose from, that do not exist in the U.S.
The Global 1 Tonners, can go Off Road very easily, U.S. 1/2 Tons would struggle to do the same. Also the U.S. pickups have poor fuel economy and as you mentioned a limited payload,as a result, they do not sell well outside NA
In fact last year 2.3 Million Pickup Trucks were sold outside NA
