Dometic 210 toilet

I believe the shaft is broken, spring works up and down and returns to neutral but ball remained closed upon depressing pedal. I pried it open to get through the weekend. My question is, do I need to disassemble the tank or is the shaft replaceable at the spring cartridge?

Thanks in advance.
  • As can be seen by exploded view in manual........

Pedal cover has to be removed
    Then water vale assembly removed
    Then spring cartridge
    Then pedal
    To access 'shaft'

    Question..'
did shaft break or engagement if ball bad requiring ball replacement

I much prefer removal of complete toilet, taking it outside to a work bench/larger space so access/work can be done easier than cramped quarters of an RV bathroom

Thanks, I have that hard copy. It's doesn't state whether or not it has to be disassembled to replace shaft.
