Boy did I read the OP wrong, I was thinking they were saying the payload amount would actually be lower because of the bed of the truck was installed after it was weighed, I guess it has been a long day.
When I was looking a year ago, it was hard to find any 250's but everyone has 350's. The payloads in general with gas engine were 3,200 for the 250 and 3,800 for the 350. I always thought my payload was 3,860 but it was wrong. I just read it to double check and mine is 4,056.
Because this is my daily driver it is registered as a passenger vehicle and not commercial but I do have to go to a commercial inspection station but can get a regular inspection.
