The salesman said that the payload was just for the cab of the truck but I told him I didn't feel comfortable with that answer so he went and got a manager. The manager said the same thing. I'm still not comfortable with that answer. My husband has now decided to buy a GMC Sierra 2500 and I need to settle this sticker/payload question before we head out for a test drive on Friday because he will probably want to buy that day. Any help would be appreciated.
:) Hi, My Lincoln Navigator has a payload of 1600 lbs. (no yellow sticker, vehicle too old) My new 2014 F-150 has a payload of 1745 lbs as indicated on it's yellow sticker. 1968 lbs on an F-250 is pitiful. Check the yellow sticker before buying anything or you might be sorry.
