The first weekend we took the trailer out for a trial run, we walked around and saw that most of the 5th wheels were being towed by F-250s. I told my husband that I felt pretty sure some of the rigs were too big to be towed by those trucks based on my research here.
Very smart observation. I scan the 5th wheel section sometimes and those folks regularly remind shoppers how payload is eaten up by both the pin weight and the weight of the hitch unit (~150 lbs)
