Downside to tongue weight over 15%?
Tongue weight should be between 10 & 15%. It usually is. There is a potential serious safety issue if it's below 10% and that's well documented everywhere. But what is the downside of being over 15...

Our TT was too light in the tongue, and I had to move a bunch of stuff around to make it heavier. Moved the spare tire to the front compartment, and added a heavier ladder there. I even thought about getting cinder blocks to mount on the tongue. We always tow the trailer with empty tanks since the waste is in the rear.
If I had a truck that could handle 15%+ I wouldn't be concerned about it... It seemed like the heavier the tongue got, the better it towed.
