If the glides are the kind where you have to pick up the drawer to open it, they get difficult with age. Replacing the glides is the best bet which is a lot of fun in a typical 12" wide drawer and then use the plastic bottom drawer locks that cost as much as the glides. Alignment of the glides is also a big issue as the structure back inside the cabinets can be quite flimsy. If you have an adjacent drawer that can be removed to try to get the stuck one free it helps. If you decide to replace the glides PM me and I'll find out where I got glides and the latches.
