As Amandasgramma said, its what under the grass. The grass won't be hurt and 1-2" tires tracks won't matter if being changed next year.
I know if we tried driving across our lawn, with a truck, it would be axle deep in the soil, testing out your Roadside Assistance plan. Very dependant on how moist/how much rain that you have had recently. All season tires will not have the traction, if you start to sink in.
