When we purchased our camper, the dealer told us that the floor/wall connection is not designed to take a load (humans) inside) without support under the floor. Dealer said to ensure there was support under the floor if we planned to use the camper off the truck.
Otherwise the floor could start separating from the walls.
I appreciated his honesty and since we didn't plan to live in the camper when it was off the truck it wasn't an issue for us.
When stored it sits on some skookum sawhorses built by DH, sits at about the same height as the truck so we don't have to use the jacks much to take the camper up/down.
