They are all 3 great truck with personal preference picks the winner.
When I researched my current truck, I was coming from a Ram with 180k trouble free diesel miles so it was top on the list. I also like the new 6.4 gas engine offered by Ram and found the price to be significantly less, mainly because bottom line Rams have less amenities than bottom line Chevy and Ford.
When I did research, my wife and I had a tough time deciding between the Tradesman and the SLT, the bottom two trim levels. With the tradesman, you get a floor shifter for the 4wd which causes problem for a 3rd person up front unless you pay for an upgrade to electronic shift. The electronic shift comes standard in the SLT. The tradesman also gives black bumpers unless you pay for the upgrade Chrome appearance package. When we looked at it all, we decided the SLT without only a couple options gave us more bang for the buck and was only a couple hundred more than the tradesman with several packages.
If you order a ram, one package you want to add for ~$130 is an aux switch which will give you 5 switches to control power to different items. I use mine to provide 40A service to the camper plug, set to ignition "on" and remember "last state" so I only have to turn it on once when I load the camper.
